Riley Pohl, CPA - Partner
Originally from Manitoba, Riley traded the prairies for the ocean and made Nova Scotia home. He is a CPA and a graduate of CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Program.
Away from the desk, you'll find him running along the basin, on the golf simulator chasing par, or at the lake with his wife and two daughters.

Clem Forest-Leblanc - Partner
Originally from Les îles de Madeleine, Qc, Clem graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce. After spending a decade working for some of the largest accounting firms in Canada, he joined the ARC CPA team in 2021.
He is passionate about making a difference in the lives of small business owners. When he isn't working, you can probably find him on the golf course or cheering on the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Blue Jays.
Ange Purcell, CPA - Tax Manager
Originally from Ontario, Ange now proudly calls Nova Scotia home. She is a CPA and graduate of CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program with more than 15 years of experience in public accounting.
She joined the ARC CPA team in 2023 and enjoys helping clients simplify complex tax and accounting issues so they can focus on what matters most to them. Outside of work, Ange enjoys spending time with family and friends, spoiling her three dogs, and is always looking forward to her next concert or travel adventure.
Mikail Tiernay - Associate
Based in London, Ontario, Mikail graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies, specializing in Accounting.
He joined the ARC CPA team in 2025 and enjoys working with clients to solve complex tax and accounting challenges. Outside of work, you can usually find him on the golf course, staying active, or spending time with family and friends.
Beth MacNeil - Office Manager
Originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Beth brings a background in management to her role as Office Manager, which she stepped into after joining the ARC CPA team in 2025.
She enjoys keeping things running smoothly with the team so every client gets a seamless, well-supported experience. Outside of work she enjoys running, entering the odd road race, and spending time with family and friends.
Angela Fedorenko - Accounting Technician
Angela is a passionate bookkeeper with over 10 years of experience providing bookkeeping services across a variety of industries. She enjoys helping businesses keep their financial records accurate, organized and up to date.
Angela provides peace of mind, taking pride in her attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Outside of work, she loves baking, which lets her express her creativity and unwind as she tries new recipes.
Brittany Mailman - Accounting Technician
Brittany joined the ARC CPA team in 2022 as a Bookkeeper. She enjoys helping clients stay organized by keeping their bookkeeping and payroll running smoothly, while providing reliable support every step of the way.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and making memories with family, friends, and her dog.
Bowen Yao - Accounting Technician
For Bowen Yao, moving from China to Halifax in 2018 was the start of an exciting new chapter. After earning his Master of Finance from Saint Mary’s University, he began his career in public accounting and joined the ARC CPA team in 2024.
He enjoys building relationships with clients and finding practical solutions that make a real difference. Outside of work, Bowen embraces everything the Canadian outdoors has to offer. In the winter, there’s a good chance you’ll spot him at any ski resort somewhere across Canada. In the summer, he’s usually out camping, and before long, he’ll be exploring on a motorcycle.
Stephanie Fransoo - Accounting Technician
Stephanie grew up in rural Manitoba and brings a diverse background in marketing, operations, and administration to her role at ARC CPA, where she joined the team at the end of 2023.
She finds it rewarding to help clients stay organized and find practical solutions to bookkeeping challenges so they can focus on growing their businesses. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, reading, and listening to comedy podcasts.
Eaden Hnatiuk - Accounting Technician
